Another Quarter

There are so many I want to say but first thing of all I enjoyed these past days and months. I’ve been joining Extra Curricular Activities lately, and I’ve been thinking that my academics are being left behind.
This quarter I joined the choir which develop my singing capabilities moreover it developed me to become more socialized, and I learned that “teamwork is the key to success”.  We practiced very hard and we became 3rd place in the Solidarity.  In the month of September is the Science month and we participated in the Robotics dance competition and we were 1st runner up. And I think this quarter is very fun.
I truly like this quarter, but I think my academics was left behind, and in this next quarter of this school year I will focused on my academics more than extra curricular activities.

Universal Heroes

A hero is the one we depend to. These are the people in our surroundings like policeman, farmers, carpenters, etc., but for me my hero is my teacher.

Fifth of October we celebrated teacher’s day. We give thanks to our teachers, because our teachers are doing their best to teach every student to learn in all aspects, they teach students to give the student the knowledge to pursue their dreams in their life, they give students the courage to face their fears about learning, and we consider our teachers our 2nd parents. They sacrifice their time for the sake of teaching students

All teachers must be considered as a hero, because they are the ones who teach us to learn new things. I almost forgot Happy Teacher’s day to all teachers in the world!!!! :

Teamwork is for All

There are so many young people nowadays; we must be teaching them the right ways and help to the community. Before we solve the problems of our community we must solve our own problems

Our population is growing not only in just one country but all over the world. Many of us is not responsible for their waste, they are just throwing their waste anywhere.

We are now suffering many problems in our community, in our city, in our country and in our world (earth), this problem is our fault, well not all of us, there are some people who care about mother nature, let’s just say 97%, the people that are irresponsible and 3%, the people who care about mother nature. See they are just few people who care about Mother Nature. To tell you frankly, I am also one those people who are abusing Nature, but I can change.

In order to solve problems we must have determination and concentration to have a solution for that problem. To have better solution for our problems is to have unity, as heard from some TV shows that “Teamwork makes the Dream work”, having this as a solution to our problems then the world would be problem free. We must not only teach the young ones but, we must be a good example to them so that they will follow us.

Teamwork is the key in solving all problems. Let us work all together to solve all our problems in our community, in our city, and in our world.
True Heroes
According to children heroes are very strong, have supernatural powers, they can fly; they can travel in inconstant speed. These heroes are not real they do not even exist.
True heroes or real heroes are the ones who are helping their fellow men even without supernatural power, even if they can’t fly. These heroes are real they are the one who exist in this world.

Nurse, carpenters, businessman, doctor, chef, etc. they are the ones who are real they help people in different aspects and they exist. We can also be considered as a hero if we help people.

There are so many heroes in our world some of them are in our community. Watch out it can be also you!! ;)

Our Own Language

Every country have their own language also us. Some countries use their own language to communicate fluently to their fellow men. But some of us just taking it for granted to use our own language and it may lead to misunderstanding.
Using our own language improves our skill in talking to our fellow people in our country, makes our work faster, our community, cities or our country will have a stronger bond and the last but not the least using our own language makes our country more progressive.
So let us use our own language for the betterment of our self and for the betterment of our country.

First Grading Period

First Grading Period is over and a lot of memories left of this grading period, good memories. Of course good memories are more than bad memories. And the graduation is nearly over just three grading period.

I did my best to make my grades higher this school year. So many good memories like, our teachers in all our subject was out except our teacher in MAPEH subject, because they have a seminar and another moment when we enjoyed practice in our jingle. I met so many good teachers this year. They are all good in teaching and very kind too. I’ll miss all my classmates in Ilocos Sur National High School and all the teachers in there.

I’m looking forward for second grading period. And I’m hoping my grades will go up because I will do my best.

State of the Nation Address

Mr. Benigno Aquino III the President of the Philippines held his 4rth State of the Nation Address last July 22, 2013: Monday. It was 1 hour and 40 minutes it takes to finish his SONA. He stated his plans last year, all the plans that worked.
He focused about the education, the curriculum k-12. He stated that all public schools must implement k-12. He thought that implementing this k-12 curriculum would help all the students to have a better life and a better future.
He also enumerated his great accomplishments, like the seven point eight percent increase of the Gross National Product, the Exchange Market and the very stable Philippine Stock. If we go to the infrastructures, he also stated that he created some projects concerning roads and bridges. He stated that he improved some old roads and bridges. And if we go to agriculture, he stated that he helped farmers by constructing irrigation.

I think President Benigno Aquino III is doing a good job in his 3 years of reign in the Philippines. But he must keep improving the Philippines and he must make sure that he fulfil his promises.

I AM HONORED

Ilocos Sur National High School
Vigan City, Ilocos Sur
June 25, 2013
Honorable Benigno Aquino III
President, Republic of the Philippines
Malacanang Palace, Manila

Dear Mr. President,

I am very thankful and very honored that I am able to write a letter to you.
I believe in the saying "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility,". I know that being a president in a country is hard, because being a president means being responsible for the whole country and the people on it. A good president is a good leader, he is able to lead his fellow men/people to brighter future or to a brighter tomorrow. A good president is a good example to their fellow men/people.
Sir, You make our country light and shine, but do not forget about the people who are poor, who needs help. Do not snub them, but help them instead.
That's all I need to say. Thank you Sir for your kind and consideration.

Your Fellow Filipino
